About God

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
These are distinct, yet one God.

Genesis 1:1, 26, 27; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14

About Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is also one with the Father. He was supernaturally conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over death and sin. He ascended to Heaven's glory and will return again someday for His bride, the church. He is the only way to salvation.

About the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is one with the Father and the Son of God. He lives in every Christian from the time of their salvation. He inspired those who wrote the scriptures to ensure their accuracy in writing God's Word. He convicts the world of sin. He comforts and strengthens Christians. He empowers us to develop spiritual fruit and gifts every believer for ministry.

About the Bible

The Bible is God's Word to us. Human authors, under supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit, wrote it. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is God-breathed, the original is absolutely without error (inerrant) and is incapable of having errors (infallible).
2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Timothy 1:13; Psalm 119:105, 160, 12:6; Proverbs 30:5

About Humans

People are made in the image of God, to be like Him in character. People are the supreme object of God's creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us have chosen to sin. Sin separates people from God and, unless it is washed away, will result in our eternal death.
Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-8; Isaiah 53:6a; Romans 3:23, 6:23

About Salvation

Salvation is given freely by God's grace. We cannot do anything to earn our salvation.
Grace is the basis for our salvation.
What is grace? A GIFT THAT MAKES GLAD
        Ephesians 2:8, Romans 6:23

Faith is the means to our salvation.
        Hebrews 11:1, Galatians 3:26-27, John 8:24
        Scriptural faith is accompanied by...
            Confession: Romans 10:9
Repentance: A Change in Mind that results in a Change in Action. Acts 17:30, Acts 3:19

Baptism is the occasion of salvation.
        Romans 6:3-4, Acts 2:38

Good Works are the results of salvation.
        Ephesians 2:10, James 2:18

About Eternity

People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be forever in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence.
John 3:16; Romans 6:23, 8:17-18; Revelation 20:15
